Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Troy, MI is seeking a Purchasing Agent II for a hybrid role. You will support category strategy execution, onboard suppliers, and drive cost improvements while coordinating with global affiliates.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years purchasing experience, a Bachelor's degree, and an automotive background. Proficiency in Excel and ERP (JDE LX) is required, along with strong teamwork and change-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of category strategy within the region.
• Analyze the current situation, develop a plan to improve, and execute it while communicating the plan for internal adoption.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers aligned with the category strategy.
• Drive world class cost and margin enhancements (TCO) to deliver 5% YoY productivity.
• Lead and manage supplier relationships as the local representative for global affiliates.
• Support the Lead Category Manager on project management and executing category and regional strategies.
• Experience building category cost models/clean sheets, and monitoring raw material, FX, and market trends.
• Strong influencing and change management experience with the ability to manage complexity and multiple priorities.
• Experience working with a global and diverse team in North America.
• Strong Excel background with experience in ERP systems such as JDE LX.

• Procurement Manager support execution of category strategy within their region.

The Salary range for this position is $62,200.00 - $100,200.00
