ACD Distribution, a leader in the hobby, gaming and toy industry is seeking an energetic, results-driven Purchasing Agent in Middleton, WI! As a Purchasing Agent, you are responsible for executing the day-to-day activities required to support an assigned set of vendors.

Overall Responsibilities

• Maintain productive and positive business relationships with assigned suppliers/publishers.
• Update and maintain product databases and ensure product and invoice accuracy.
• Study and interpret sales data looking for patterns and trends to make purchasing decisions.
• Stay familiar with and educated about current market conditions and trend variations within the industry.
• Manage inventory levels subject to final approval by the Purchasing Manager and/or Executive Vice President.
• Provide accurate and current product information to sales and marketing.
• Work with warehouse receivers to resolve discrepancies and miscellaneous issues as they arise.
• Collaborate closely with department members to aid in best practices decision making.
• Stay current and educated regarding all current and upcoming supplier product offerings.
• Attend trade shows and visit vendor locations as assigned.
• Complete all other reports, projects and tasks as assigned.
