Responsibilities

  • Purchase garage doors, hardware, components, and related materials based on company needs and project requirements.
  • Place and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, specifications, pricing, and delivery dates.
  • Communicate regularly with vendors regarding orders, lead times, availability, backorders, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, warehouse, installation, and other internal teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate purchasing needs to help prevent shortages or unnecessary excess inventory.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
  • Resolve discrepancies involving orders, invoices, shipments, damaged materials, or incorrect products.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about product availability, pricing changes, lead times, and industry trends.
  • Perform other purchasing and administrative duties as assigned.

Position Overview

We are seeking adetail-oriented and organized Purchasing Agent to join our team. This position is responsible for purchasing garage doors, garage door components, and related materials while ensuring products are ordered accurately and delivered on schedule.
