Elevate Aircraft Seating in Huntington Beach, CA seeks a Purchasing Administrator to support the Purchasing Department with essential administrative tasks and procurement coordination.

Responsibilities

• Send RFQ out for bids.
• Prepare data packages for RFQ.
• Distribute Open Order Reports to suppliers.
• Highlight issues to Procurement Team Leader.
• Foster effective communication with suppliers and coworkers.
• Coordinate with planners to match part scheduling with stock buffers.
• Review NCRs/withhold tags and communicate corrective actions.
• Update suppliers with engineering changes and drawings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Purchasing Administrator is responsible for assisting the Purchasing Department with administrative work.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

• Send out RFQ for bids
• Prepare data packages for RFQ
• Send out Open Order Reports to Suppliers
• Highlight any problem areas and reports to Procurement Team Leader
• Generate effective communication, good relationships, and a positive image with suppliers and co-workers promoting courtesy, objectivity and fairness
• Liaise with planners to control scheduling of parts to ensure stock levels meet demands while staying within stock level buffers
• Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)/Withhold tags written against suppliers and relays such information to them with corrective action
• Update suppliers with engineering changes and drawings
• Complete projects and other duties as assigned

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

Experience:

• Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates.

Other:

• Extended or irregular hours may be required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly Rate Transparency: $20.50 - $25 per hour
