Contract: W2, 8-Months

Location: Maplewood, MN (Hybrid – must be local)

Pay Range: $34-37/hour (dependent on experience)

Brief Summary

Our client, a leader in the purification and filtration space, is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to manage strategic sourcing for the Molding & Metals categories. This role will drive cost efficiency, innovation, and operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and drive value across the supply chain.
• Lead high-impact procurement projects focused on Molding & Metals, delivering measurable results.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, innovation, and service excellence.
• Act as the subject matter expert on category management for Molding & Metals, offering strategic insights to leadership.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance, and apply continuous improvement methodologies.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to align procurement efforts with technical and operational goals.
• Lead complex negotiations and manage contracts to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management (Molding & Metals focus highly preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in cost modeling and market analysis.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and high-value sourcing initiatives.
• Expertise in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technical procurement alignment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
