Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Punch Press Setup Operator in Brooklyn Park, MN, offering 2nd shift and a weekend option. You will set up and run punch presses, monitor tooling, and ensure product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal applicants have 2+ years of punch press setup experience with progressive/stage tooling, and familiarity with calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. High school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate punch presses and tooling systems.
• Install and adjust safety devices and machine safeguards.
• Troubleshoot progressive dies, stage tooling, and temporary tooling.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and machine upkeep.
• Train production operators on proper procedures and safety practices.
