Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools and machinery are needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with punch press setup and operation is preferred.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies on punch presses according to job instructions and production requirements.
• Safely operate punch presses to achieve standard rates, coil changes and minor adjustments.
• Identify and troubleshoot complex product quality issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers for accurate setups.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify print specifications.
• Record labor data in the ERP system.
• Move materials and dies using forklifts and other handling equipment.
