Job summary

Seats Incorporated in Chariton, IA is seeking Punch Press Operators for the 1st shift. You will operate metal stamp presses to bend and punch steel parts for our seating products. Shift runs 4:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., Mon–Thu, with competitive pay and full benefits.

Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred; candidates should be mechanically inclined and able to read blueprints and measuring tools. Attendance and safety are essential. Weekend time off may be available.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with reading gauges and measurement tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and rotate stations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate press to bend and punch steel using dies.
• Set dies in presses per setup instructions.
• Quality check parts using fixtures.
• Read tape measure, protractor, caliper, and scale.
• Follow work instructions and tolerances.
• Rotate to different workstations as production requires.
• Maintain attendance and safety standards.
