Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a production associate in Wisconsin. You will help maintain product quality, operate processing equipment, and perform sanitation tasks as part of a collaborative manufacturing team.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Compliance with GMPs and safety procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up data entry/PLC machine.
• Maintain 701 washer and chemical concentration.
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling.
• Operate natamycin bath and concentration.
• Operate punch machine and metal detector.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Complete sanitation and preops.
• Complete all production documentation.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
• Complete appropriate data entry/PLC machine set up
• Maintain 701 washer and chemical concentration
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration
• Operate punch machine and metal detector
• Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals
• Monitor and complete punch machine needle checks
• Complete all documentation per production requirements
• Perform all sanitation and preops

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You….

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Proficient in use of the computer
• Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
• Compliance with food safety policies
• Follow GMPs and SOPs
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Requires regular attendance
