Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking candidates for an on-site production role in Wisconsin. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality and appearance, operating data entry/PLC set ups, maintaining cleaning chemicals and washers, and performing aseptic cheese sampling.

The position requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adherence to GMPs and safety standards. Starting wage is $27.43 per hour. Opportunities for development and competitive compensation and benefits are provided, with a

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training; or equivalent combination
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Proficient in use of the computer
• Solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills
• Follow sanitation practices and GMPs/SOPs
• Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

• Responsible for the quality and appearance of the product
• Complete appropriate data entry/PLC machine set up
• Maintain 701 washer and chemical concentration
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration
• Operate punch machine and metal detector
• Must be able to appropriately handle and use cleaning chemicals
• Monitor and complete punch machine needle checks
• Complete all documentation per production requirements
• Perform all sanitation and preops

You Are Best Suited For The Role If You…

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and understand instructions
• Proficient in use of the computer
• Must have a solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices
• Compliance with food safety policies
• Follow GMPs and SOPs
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Requires regular attendance
