Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an Assistant Foreman in Summerville, SC to support project execution on equipment deployment and system setup. You will assist with mobilization and decommissioning of pumping, power distribution, HVAC and energy systems, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coordination with project leaders, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet timelines and deliver profitable service to clients.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics or engineering are a plus.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent verbal and written skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

Core Project & Operational Support: assist and lead setup and tear down of equipment.
System Mobilization and Decommissioning: pumping, power, HVAC, energy and temporary utilities.
Emergency and Disaster Response: participate in rapid deployment and resource management.
Safety and Compliance Leadership: ensure safety policies and practices are followed.

Emergency and Disaster Response: Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts

Safety and Compliance Leadership

Safety Assurance: Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices for every task and duty

Compliance Oversight: Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to guarantee the team operates in a manner that ensures project execution and minimizes risk

Execution Support: Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation

Performance and Delivery: Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently to guarantee profitable delivery and client satisfaction

Requirements: Education & Experience:

Base Pay Range: $27.07 - 37.21
