Doodie Calls, LLC in Hiram, GA is seeking a Pump Truck Driver to operate a pump truck on pre-determined routes, collecting waste from portable sanitation units and depositing contents into the truck.

Role is full-time or part-time, non-exempt; candidates must meet the driving experience requirements, be able to work overtime and weekends, and be located in the Hiram area. Training provided and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of required commercial driving experience
• 5 years of driving experience preferred
• TWIC ID preferred
• Must be at least 25 years old due to insurance
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.
• Hook up and pull trailers.
• Performs and documents pre-operation safety checks on the vehicle prior to embarking on the route.
• Refuels truck and performs basic maintenance.
• Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.
• Notifies dispatchers and/or supervisors of delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues and documents the same.
• Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Pump Truck Driver operates the pump truck on pre-determined routes, controlling the truck's pump or similar equipment to collect waste from portable sanitation units and deposit their contents into the truck.

Job Classification:

Full-time & Part-time; non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Location:

Hiram, GA

Pay Range:

Non CDL: $20 to $24/hour CDL: $25 to $28/hour

Responsibilities:

• Operates pump truck on a pre-determined route; safely controls the pump as required to collect receptacles and deposit their contents in the truck.

• Facilitates proper maintenance and mechanical service on truck by appropriate mechanics.
• Transports waste to the proper location for processing and/or disposal.

• Maintains logs of pickup times, daily mileage, and dump logs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be at least 25 years of age or older, due to insurance requirements for operating company vehicles.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends during the Storm season.
• Must be able to pull trailers
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A valid Driver’s License or is required.
• Ability to work overtime (nights and weekends) when needed.
• Ability to work and drive in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be located in the Hiram, GA area
