Goodnight Midstream in Midland, TX is hiring a Pump Technician for a hands-on role maintaining water management systems. You will operate, inspect, maintain and repair pumps, motors and related equipment at saltwater disposal facilities.
The ideal candidate has 2–4+ years of pump maintenance experience in oilfield or industrial settings, with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in vibration analysis and alignments. Overtime, site travel, and safety are emphasized.

As a Pump Technician, you’ll play a hands‑on, critical role in keeping our water management systems running safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance and repair of pumps, motors, and related equipment at our saltwater disposal and pipeline facilities.
The ideal candidate will be highly dependable, safety conscientious and possess effective communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple maintenance priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines is needed for this position.
This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and around industrial equipment. Candidates must be able to climb ladders, crawl, crouch, kneel, push, and pull as part of routine tasks. The role requires regularly lifting up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs, as well as walking long distances and entering confined spaces. Operating a company vehicle will be necessary for at least 70% of the time.
The work environment includes exposure to extreme weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain. Candidates must be comfortable working around high‑pressure pipelines, hazardous chemicals, and flammable products, with frequent exposure to high noise levels and adverse driving conditions. This position requires flexibility, as work may extend beyond normal business hours, including overtime, weekends, and emergency call‑outs. Additionally, employees will frequently use computers and monitoring systems for tracking and reporting tasks.
