Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Product and Application Specialist to act as the technical liaison for pump technology in municipal wastewater and biogas applications.

You will build relationships with plant builders, engineers, OEMs, EPCs, and distributors, guiding pump selection, specifications, and support across projects. You will review data, attend meetings, and develop digital tools to simplify application engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent combinations considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong technical relationships with municipal wastewater plant builders, biogas plant builders, engineering consultants, OEMs, and EPC organizations.
• Lead application expertise for pumps used in municipal wastewater, sludge handling, solids handling, and biogas/anaerobic digestion processes.
• Understand customer operating conditions and recommend pump technologies, configurations, materials, and accessories.
• Review customer specifications, process data, drawings, P&IDs, and technical requirements.
• Attend customer meetings, technical presentations, and project discussions with the sales team.
• Develop technical differentiators against competitive solutions.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling across the pump portfolio.
• Conduct distributor training and develop training modules for municipal wastewater and biogas segments.
• Train distributor salespeople to perform basic pump selections and identify opportunities.
• Create digital tools that simplify pump selection and application engineering.
• Translate technical pump knowledge into scalable digital tools with product management, engineering, marketing, and IT teams.
• Develop tools and resources that improve technical support capabilities for customers and distributors.
