Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Repair Technician to interface with customers, repair parts and pumps, and handle various warehouse duties. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, motivation, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

You will manage inventory, assemble/disassemble rod pumps, and maintain a safe work environment. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, good communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.
• Must be 21 or older to drive a company vehicle.
• Some computer skills are required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good driving record.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Solid technical skills to understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documents.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Good organizational skills with multi-tasking ability.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and manage repairs of parts and pumps.
• Manage and pull inventory; assemble and disassemble rod pumps.
• Perform standard warehouse duties and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Load and unload trucks of parts and pumps; stock material.
• Answer phones and greet customers; repair pumps and deliver to locations.
• Other duties as required.

What You Will Do

• The Repair Technician’s role is to interface with customers, manage repairs of parts and pumps and complete various warehouse management responsibilities.
• Position requirements include strong interpersonal skills, highly self-motivated, ability to work both independently and team-oriented, mechanically inclined.
• Manage and pull inventory
• Assemble and disassemble rod pumps
• Standard warehouse duties
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Load and unload trucks of parts and pumps when delivered to the warehouse

• Answer phones and greet customers
• Repair pumps and deliver to their location
• Other duties as required

Physical Demands

• The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
