Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Pump Plumbing Assembler to build and assemble pump plumbing systems and related components. You will read blueprints, cut, thread, and assemble pipe, and perform leak tests. The role requires precise measurement, the use of pneumatic tools, and adherence to safety standards.

This position offers 1st or 2nd shift with overtime potential. You will contribute to high-quality, durable fire apparatus while advancing your career in a hands-on,

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical experience in automotive/marine/facility contexts.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to perform plumbing and welding functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pipe for plumbing installation including cutting and threading.
• Perform hydrostatic leak tests and record results; repair leaks.
• Install and connect pump panels, tubing, and brackets; tack-welding as needed.
• Read blueprints and 3D models; measure accurately to 1/16 inch.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow safety protocols.
