Job summary

Thomas Oilfield Services in Midland, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, diagnose and repair a range of field equipment, including diesel and gasoline engines, high pressure pumps and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities

• Execute procedures for preventative maintenance.

• Install or replace repair parts as needed.
• Test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Operate lifting devices and complete paperwork as assigned.
• Assist other Maintenance personnel and support supervisor.

Job Summary

Maintains, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including; diesel/gasoline engines, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, rig vac and various other types of oil field related equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute required procedures for preventative maintenance.
• Perform inspections required by company.
• Perform basic troubleshooting with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure our equipment is ready to rent.
• Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts.
• Basic testing of equipment for proper operation.
• Operation of lifting devices.
• Must complete proper paperwork as assigned.
• May be required to assist other Maintenance employees.
• Performs various other duties assigned by supervisor/manager within the physical constraints of the job.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years similar experience in service company or oilfield operating company.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Multi-tasking ability.
