Job summary

FCX Performance, an Applied Industrial Technologies Company, seeks a Pump Mechanic in Midland, TX to support our service team and repair pumps, motors, and related components in shop and at customer sites.

You will perform maintenance, testing, and rebuilding, document actions, and identify safety issues. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with experience valued in valve and pump systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of shop mechanic experience.
• Valve, engine, and/or pump experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, testing and rebuilding of products in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete all applicable documentation for actions taken.
• Identify and report safety issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Research task criteria prior to beginning repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description:

As a Pump Mechanic at FCX Performance, you’ll help our team by being a key member of our service team and work on repairing various pumps, motors, small engines, and other related component equipment in the shop and at customer sites. Some more details about what you will be doing includes the following: Perform maintenance, repair, testing and rebuilding of products in a timely and accurate manner. Complete all applicable documentation for actions taken. Identify and report safety issues to the Warehouse Manager Research task criteria prior to beginning repairs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

2 or more years of shop mechanic experience

Valve, engine, and/or pump experience preferred

High school diploma required

Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
