Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a Pump Mechanic in Midland, TX. This role is part of FCX Performance/Basin Engine & Pump, a leading Applied Industrial Technologies company.

You will join our service team and work on repairing pumps, motors, and related equipment both in the shop and at customer sites. Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, testing and rebuilding of products, completing documentation, and identifying safety issues for the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of shop mechanic experience.
• Valve, engine, and/or pump experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, testing and rebuilding of products in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complete all applicable documentation for actions taken.
• Identify and report safety issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Research task criteria prior to beginning repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description:

As a Pump Mechanic at FCX Performance, you'll help our team by being a key member of our service team and work on repairing various pumps, motors, small engines, and other related component equipment in the shop and at customer sites. Some more details about what you will be doing includes the following: Perform maintenance, repair, testing and rebuilding of products in a timely and accurate manner. Complete all applicable documentation for actions taken. Identify and report safety issues to the Warehouse Manager Research task criteria prior to beginning repairs. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

2 or more years of shop mechanic experience

Valve, engine, and/or pump experience preferred

High school diploma required

Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
