  • Determine training needs and track performance goals for the division.
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and safety records.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with Quality and other management teams.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules and customer demands.

Join as Pump Division Manager

Clear Vision Window Films, Inc. invites an experienced Pump Division Manager to lead shop personnel in Chesapeake, Virginia.

About the Role

The Pump Division Manager collaborates with Project Managers, Foreman, Mechanics, and Machinists to deliver high‑quality repairs on horizontal split case pumps, overhung pumps, vertical turbine pumps, and other high‑energy rotating equipment. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to mentor others while adhering to established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work safely in a team environment and comply with all EMC policies and procedures.
  • Participate in production meetings and pre‑job briefs to review job expectations.
  • Oversee all relevant company processes and systems.
  • Track operational costs and manage the Departmental Income Statement.
  • Directly correspond with customers and vendors.
  • Determine training needs and track performance goals for the division.
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and safety records.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with Quality and other management teams.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules and customer demands.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of pump repair experience and supervisory background.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and standard computer programs.
  • Strong knowledge of various pump types and repair techniques.
  • Understanding of LEAN Manufacturing techniques and 5S principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and repair specifications.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Leadership ability and willingness to mentor and train junior employees.
