Job summary

Xcimer Energy is seeking a Pulsed Power Operations Engineer to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the pulsed power components of our state-of-the-art laser system at the Denver headquarters. You will learn from pulsed power experts and help implement system upgrades and improvements, while authoring procedures and building out operational infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering are required or preferred.
• Experience with pulsed-power or high-voltage test operations is desirable.
• Strong lab, testing, or hands-on engineering background is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain high-voltage pulsed-power systems.
• Perform electrical diagnostics using test equipment and analyze waveforms.
• Inspect and replace electrical components and support maintenance activities.
• Develop operational procedures and documentation for the Phoenix system.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve reliability.
