The role requires a DOE Q clearance eligibility, a high school diploma with 3+ years of CADD experience, and the ability to work in a diverse environment. A background check and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in creating mechanical product design definition to include 3D solid models and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency with PTC/CREO, PDMLink (Windchill), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment
• Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements

Responsabilités

• Create 3D models and drawings for next generation accelerators and pulsed power machines
• Partner with engineers and scientists in developing designs
• Discuss and interpret design concepts and identify requirements of detailed working drawings
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers on design, schedule, processes and materials
• Manage documentation in collaborative engineering environment with PDMLink and approvals
