Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Pulp and Paper Technical Sales Intern to work on real commercial projects at our customers’ pulp and paper facilities. You will build hands-on industry know-how, own a project, and get a meaningful preview of a career in technical sales.

Responsibilities include applying coursework in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pulp & Paper, Chemistry or related STEM, developing skills in project management and communication, and networking with professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing STEM degree (Chemical/Mechanical Eng, Pulp & Paper, Chemistry) or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work on real commercial projects at customers' pulp and paper facilities.
• Learn and apply methods learned in class to solve problems.
• Develop skills in project management, communication, and business acumen.
• Pair with a Solenis mentor for guidance and feedback throughout the internship.
• Network with professionals in the field.
• Gain a realistic job preview of a technical sales career.
