Job summary

medrina is seeking a pulmonologist to join our team in the Chicago Suburbs, IL area. The role involves consulting, overseeing NPs, and providing pulmonary expertise within our respiratory program.

We offer flexible scheduling as a 1099 independent contractor, with Monday through Friday work and no weekend requirements, along with tail malpractice coverage and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Illinois license.
• Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum 1 year of pulmonology experience.
• Experience with respiratory patients in acute or post-acute settings.
• Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide biweekly pulmonary consults to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR.
