Job summary

Norton Community Hospital, a member of Ballad Health, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician to join its growing service line. The team observes, diagnoses, and prepares patients for testing and treatment of lung diseases, and participates in one of the nation’s busiest Black Lung Clinics with access to ION Bronchoscopy equipment.

This opportunity offers on-the-job training in Black Lung disease, a strong support staff, base salary with a signing bonus and moving allowance,

Qualifications

• BC/BE Pulmonologist and Critical Care physician.
• Board certification in Pulmonology and Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage lung diseases and prepare patients for testing and treatment.
• Provide ICU and critical care consultations.
• Participate in the Black Lung Clinic and related activities.
• Teach and work with Internal Medicine residents.
• Utilize ION Bronchoscopy equipment in patient care.

Norton Community Hospital, a member of Ballad Health, is seeking a BC/BE Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician to join its growing service line. The provider will join a team that observes, diagnoses, and prepares patients for testing and treatment of diseases of the lung, as well as participate in one of the nation s busiest Black Lung Clinics, provides consults for ICU Critical Care patients and have access to our latest addition - ION Bronchoscopy equipment. This unique opportunity will include on-the-job training in the growing field of Black Lung disease, while expanding your skill set as a Physician. Candidates should possess skills including arterial line placement and bronchoscopies (Critical Care and EBUS experience is a plus).
