Job description

Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC sleep-trained pulmonologist physician to join a group of 11 physicians in a growing inpatient and outpatient practice, along with 5 advanced practice providers. The candidate must be fellowship trained in sleep medicine.

The practice features:

• Clinic located adjacent to the hospital
• One physician on home call during weeknights; weekend coverage includes one physician on Pulmonary Service and another on Intensivist Service
• Opportunity to do 100% Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine
• 6 weeks of vacation
• 5 administrative days following each 7-day ICU rotation
• 8-bed Sleep Diagnostic Center with active home sleep apnea testing
• State-of-the-art Imaging Center with X-Ray, CT, MRI, and PET/CT
• 28-bed ICU and 16-bed Pulmonary Acute Care Unit
• 16-bed hybrid Neuro ICU/Neuro Acute Unit managed by dedicated Neuro Critical Care Board-certified Neuro Intensivists
• Hospitalists and eICU coverage in the evenings
• Inpatient pulmonary services for the Heart Hospital
• Faculty opportunity in the Internal Medicine Department of the University of South Dakota
