Job description

Beginning May 1st, a Board-Certified Pulmonologist is needed for full-time locum tenens coverage, for at least 3-4 months, ongoing.

This is a Level II, 400-bed hospital where both clinic and inpatient coverage are required. Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm, and 8am-12pm on Fridays, with inpatient rounding on weekends (24hr call).

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluations & Treatments: COPD, Lung Masses, Pulmonary Nodules, Asthma, Interstitial Lung Disease, Pneumonia, Sarcoidosis, COPD, some pulmonary hypertension, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Bronchiolitis, Pulmonary Vascular Disease

• Testing/Procedures: Pulmonary Function Testing, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), Bronchoscopic Intubations, Bronchoscopy, management of Interstitial and Granulomatous Lung Disease

Must be able to: see sleep and pulmonary cases, assist with procedures like EBUS, Bronch, and/or Super D.
