Job summary

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Pulmonologist in Lufkin, TX to deliver expert pulmonary care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The physician will evaluate and manage COPD, asthma, ILD, and other pulmonary conditions, interpret PFTs and imaging, and practice under Epic EMR in a busy community-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease.
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to employment.
• Completed ACGME Pulmonary Residency.
• American Board Certification and BLS current.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical care in pulmonary medicine in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Evaluate and manage asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease and other pulmonary disorders.
• Interpret pulmonary diagnostics including PFTs and imaging.
• Operate within Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group as part of CommonSpirit Health.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Pulmonologist, you will join our established practice at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in the continued success and development of our practice. Every day you will provide expert clinical care in pulmonary medicine, delivering expert evaluation and management of complex respiratory conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings. To be successful, you will be a BC/BE Pulmonologist Physician with a passion for helping patients, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality comprehensive care within a busy community-focused practice.

• Employed position with Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group, a member of CommonSpirit Health
• Role involves providing comprehensive evaluation and management of asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and other complex pulmonary disorders
• Interpret pulmonary diagnostics, including PFTs and imaging

Pay Range

$311,791 - $522,226 /year
