Job Opportunity: Pulmonary Disease Physician

We are working with Bon Secours Health, seeking a Pulmonary Disease physician to fill a locum position starting in May at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, OH. The facility provides high-quality medical services to its patients.

Details:

• Provider: Bon Secours - Mercy Health
• Location: St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, OH
• Facility Level: Level II Trauma, 400 Beds

Responsibilities:

• Coverage needed from May onward
• Work in both clinic and hospital settings
• Clinic hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-12pm
• Hospital hours: Weekends with 24-hour call and rounding; primary call during weekends; backup call during weekdays; 1:2 call ratio on weekends
• See adult patients in outpatient clinic, including sleep and pulmonary cases
• Perform procedures such as EBUS, Bronch, and Super D.
• Manage admissions alongside hospitalists
• Required to see patients with conditions like COPD, lung masses, pulmonary nodules, asthma, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, sarcoidosis, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, bronchiolitis, and pulmonary vascular disease
• Perform tests and procedures including pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehab, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, EBUS, bronchoscopy, and interstitial and granulomatous lung disease assessments

Qualifications:

• Board certified in Pulmonary; BC in Sleep preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EMR: EPIC
• Support staff: 5 APPs
