Join Our Team as a Pulmonary Medicine Physician!

We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonary Medicine Physician to join our vibrant team at a well-established medical facility located in Hickory, North Carolina. This facility prides itself on providing top-notch healthcare services, with a focus on patient-centered care within an inpatient setting. The medical center is known for its supportive work culture, modern facilities, and commitment to excellence.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily in-house call coverage; shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Conduct pulmonary consultations and manage patients in the ICU.
  • Ensure timely response to patient needs within a maximum of 25 minutes.
  • Document patient contact hours, and support call back hours accurately in timesheets.
  • Review medical records and conduct patient assessments in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Active North Carolina medical license and DEA certification.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • Eligibility for board certification in Internal Medicine - Pulmonary Disease or Critical Care Medicine.
  • Previous experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Active medical license in North Carolina.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
