Pulmonary/Critical Care in Birmingham Metro!
Seeking BC/BE Pulmonary/Critical Care physician for an existing practice of 6 physicians and 8 APPs!
The Practice:
- Employed position with a great combination of inpatient, outpatient, and dedicated personal time.
- 5-week rotation schedule: Intensivist, Office, Helper (AM Hospital/PM Office), Hospital, Week Off.
- Call 1:6, with APPs covering first call; call only for critical emergencies.
- Full range of office care and diagnostic services for lung disorders such as COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, interstitial lung disease, lung nodule clinic, and lung cancer.
- Advanced bronchoscopic techniques including EBUS, navigational bronchoscopy, transthoracic biopsy, fiducial placement, pleurx catheters, brachytherapy, pleuroscopy, and electrocautery.
- Sleep medicine available if desired, with an established practice since 1979 and an excellent community reputation.
