Essen Health Care, the largest privately held multispecialty medical group in New York, seeks a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our pulmonology team. You will evaluate and manage patients with respiratory diseases in outpatient and inpatient settings, collaborating with pulmonary physicians to provide high-quality care.

Formación

• Master’s degree required for PA; corresponding master’s/doctorate for NP.
• Current state licensure as PA or NP and national cert.
• DEA license with prescriptive authority; BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred for pediatrics.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct assessments and manage patients with pulmonary conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, inhaler use and lifestyle changes.
• Assist or perform procedures such as bronchoscopy support where credentialed.
• Participate in care coordination and documentation in EMR.
