St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers in the Pulmonology clinic at Crestview Hills. You will take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, and assist with procedures while ensuring HIPAA and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus MA program completion or relevant certifications; preferred CCMA/CMA/RMA/ARMA/EMT credentials. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One of the following: MA program with hands-on externship; SEP Internship; EMT certification; or a Health/Biological Sciences degree with hands-on clinical patient care.
• Preferred credentials: CCMA, CMA, RMA, ARMA or EMT.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs.
• Document patient history in the chart.
• Provide instructions to patients and address exam concerns.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist during examinations.
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic tests.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and revenue-cycle forms.
• Maintain exam room supplies and disinfect rooms.
• Comply with OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA regulations.
• Take phone messages and manage patient/provider communications.
• Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff.
• Complete referrals and schedule outpatient tests; ensure timely filing of patient information.

Formation

MA Program including hands-on externship
