The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville has an INCREDIBLE opportunity for a clinician educator to join a group of 13 EXPERIENCED pulmonary and critical care medicine faculty physicians in a hospital-owned employed practice. Admitting and rounding are done at one hospital ONLY. For those interested in developing additional skills, the practice offers sub-specialty areas of expertise in cystic fibrosis, sleep, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and state-of-the-art interventional pulmonology.
What makes this position unique is the balanced work schedule:
Pulmonary/Critical Care fellows and Internal Medicine residents provide in-house floor and ICU coverage. You will work at the University of Tennessee Medical Center Campus, a 609-bed tertiary care facility, Level I Trauma Center, and the only academic medical center in the region. Our pulmonary program has been nationally ranked 4/5 years and high performing in pulmonary and COPD.
We offer a clinical position with a commitment to teaching and potential participation in clinical research supporting our Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship.
