Opportunity to join a department of 20 Pulmonary Critical Care faculty, including 12 Critical Care faculty within the Internal Medicine Department, comprising 26 divisions.
Teaching opportunities are available with a nationally ranked Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship Program. You will have the chance to supervise medical students, residents, and fellows in Critical Care clinics and consults.
The pulmonary practice includes 75% Pulmonary and Sleep medicine, and 25% Critical Care. The Critical Care schedule involves 4 weekday shifts per year and 3 weeknights per year, with no inpatient call required.
The center is a nationally recognized Center of Advanced Lung Disease and boasts an award-winning Lung and Heart Transplant Program, with Centers of Excellence in Heart, Kidney, Liver, and Lung Transplants.
Compensation includes an excellent base salary, RVU bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The Pulmonary Critical Care department is ranked 49th in the U.S. News and World Report. Tampa General Hospital has been ranked as the top hospital in Tampa Bay since 2016 and is the highest-ranked hospital in Florida, recognized in multiple medical specialties.
