Job description

ILR Health is excited to bring you a Permanent Pulmonologist/Critical Care position near Savannah, GA.

Hospital-employed setting joining one other Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician at East Georgia Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine.

New graduates will be considered.

The practice involves a mix of hospital and office settings, with a good balance of Pulmonology and Critical Care. Candidates should be comfortable with both areas. Sleep Studies training/experience is optional but preferred.

We are opening an ICU step-down unit (7 beds) when an additional Pulmonologist/Critical Care specialist joins the team.

Additionally, there is a 4-bed sleep unit contracted with SleepMed, with Dr. Cichelli as the medical director, primarily outpatient services.

Nocturnists are available, and telemedicine services through Emory are accessible.

The location is a growing college town with excellent schools and diverse industries. It's close to the GA coast, with a friendly southern community vibe, deep roots, and access to recreational facilities such as a world-class public sports complex in Bulloch County, featuring year-round swimming and seasonal water parks. Augusta, GA, is within easy driving distance for shopping, dining, and recreation. Day trips to Tybee Island, GA, and Hilton Head, SC, are also convenient.
