Job description

Seeking an experienced BE/BC fellowship-trained Pulmonary Critical Care physician to join our team. The candidate will join a group of four physicians in a practice currently experiencing significant growth and high patient demand.

Responsibilities and Schedule

1. Clinic Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
2. 36 patient contact hours with 4 hours administrative time
3. Schedule: Hospital coverage one week followed by three weeks in clinic
4. Clinic appointments: 20 minutes for follow-up and 40 minutes for new patient visits
5. Average Clinic Patients: 20-25 per day
6. Average Hospital Consults: 22-24 per day
7. Support: Designated MA and RN for each physician, phone triage nurse, and 2 nurses during day call
8. Call Expectations: One week of day call per month, with subsequent weeks alternating between clinic and night call
9. Telehealth visits available in both clinic and hospital settings, including consults to rural health centers
10. Outreach: 1-2 days per month at two locations, including travel time
11. Opportunities to educate and train students
12. Support from respiratory and pathology teams
13. Strong mentorship from seasoned physicians
