This hospital-employed role is based at a 338-bed regional medical center with an 18-bed semi-open ICU. The position became available due to a physician's relocation. The practice includes 2 full-time PCCs + NPs and 2 part-time PCCs, with 24/7 NP coverage and hospitalist coverage performing procedures.
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Call is 10 days per month, shared among three PCCs, covering clinic and ICU. Physicians may follow their patients into the ICU if desired, though this is rare. The EMR system used is Paragon, standard across the healthcare system.
Compensation: Base salary of $450,000 + DOE, sign-on bonus of $35,000, incentives based on wRVU, malpractice coverage, and benefits including health, vision, dental, 401K, and relocation assistance ($5,000 for single, $10,000 for family).
An established, hospital-employed gastroenterology practice in Alabama seeks a B/E, B/C Gastroenterologist. ERCP and EUS experience are welcome but not required. This practice is part of a $450 million, 228-bed hospital with a 36-bed ICU, outpatient clinics, and over 30 subspecialties. Call is 10 days a month. The administrative team and medical staff are supportive and physician-friendly.
Compensation: Competitive base salary of $550,000, negotiable, plus wRVU production, sign-on bonus, relocation, benefits, malpractice, and student loan repayment assistance.
