Job summary

Pulmonology Internists, PA, part of the Hackensack Meridian Health network, seeks a Board-Certified or Eligible Pulmonologist to join the team in Edison, New Jersey. The physician will cover outpatient clinic days, ICU rounds, and hospital consults at JFK University Medical Center.

The role offers opportunities to teach medical students and residents, collaborate with specialties, and participate in a multi-location practice within 30 minutes of driving. A two-year partnership track is available.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or eligible in internal medicine and pulmonology; sleep boards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care for pulmonary and sleep disorders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Expand and implement procedures for acute and chronic pulmonary disease.
• Offer consultative and diagnostic inpatient services at JFK University Medical Center.
• Teaching opportunities for students and residents.
• Collaborate with Thoracic Surgery, Chest Radiology, and Pulmonary Oncology programs.
• Maintain accurate EHR patient records (Epic or equivalent).
