The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) invites applications for two board-certified/board-eligible Pulmonary & Critical Care faculty physicians to join the expanding Lung Transplant Program at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. You will participate in inpatient and outpatient transplant care, pre- and post-transplant assessments, and multidisciplinary clinics as part of a collaborative team.

All faculty are dedicated to teaching, clinical care, and research within a supportive academic

Qualifications

  • ABIM Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Pulmonary & Critical Care.
  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Wisconsin.
  • Lung Transplant training/experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional clinical abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to MCW’s academic missions.

Responsibilities

  • Involve in evaluation of patients being considered for lung transplantation and ongoing post-transplant care.
  • Provide both inpatient and outpatient care, collaborating with surgery, critical care, infectious disease, and other specialties.
  • Contribute to teaching, research, and academic development within a multidisciplinary transplant team.
  • Participate in transplant clinics and pre-transplant assessments to support patient care across the transplant continuum.

Job Profile: Pulmonologist - Lung Transplant Program - FacultyThe Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks 2 board certified / board eligible faculty physicians (open rank) for our expanding Lung Transplant Program. These positions are located in Milwaukee, WI at Froedtert Hospital.Position Highlights:Build a strong academic career within a collaborative, multidisciplinary transplant teamActive involvement in evaluation of patients being considered for lung transplantation, as well as ongoing care of patients who have undergone transplantProvide both inpatient & outpatient care.
