Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Physician (Pulmonologist) for the Corpus Christi VA Clinic in Corpus Christi, TX. The physician will deliver patient care, educate patients and families, and participate in pulmonary clinical research when indicated.

A recruitment/relocation incentive may be authorized for a highly qualified candidate. Responsibilities include administrative and clinical duties, documentation in CPRS, and collaboration across departments to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an approved school.
• Current, full US medical license.
• Board eligible/certified in internal medicine and pulmonology.
• Preferred: Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary and sleep medicine care to patients in the Corpus Christi VA Clinic.
• Document patient care in CPRS per system requirements.
• Educate patients and families on prevention and treatment options.
• Coordinate with related departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
