Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to recruit a full-time, BC/BE pulmonologist to join the growing team at Southern Ocean Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team of dedicated professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional care.

HIGHLIGHTS:

· Join a collaborative network of experienced physicians and support staff with a dynamic culture. The practice includes seven physicians as well as nurse practitioner support.

· Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

· Opportunity to provide consultative and follow-up care to patients in a 12-bed closed ICU.

· Shared on-call responsibilities among a team of seven physicians.

· Inpatient and outpatient opportunity with Southern Ocean Medical Center as the inpatient facility, rotational coverage at other hospitals on weekends and an outpatient office in Forked River, NJ.

· The outpatient offices have comprehensive pulmonary function testing.

· The Sleep Lab at Southern Ocean University Medical Center offers advanced diagnostic tools to enhance the treatment of sleep disorders.

REQUIREMENTS:

· M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School

· The ideal candidate will have Board Certification or Board Eligibility in pulmonary and critical care.

· Sleep medicine BC/BE optional.

· New Jersey Medical License

COMPENSATION:

Starting Base Salary: $260,094

Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
