Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse Triage (RN) – Pulmonary to support patient care via inbound and outbound telephone triage. This full-time role reports to the Supervisor and requires travel to different locations with flexible hours to meet operational needs.

Responsibilities include phone triage, patient education, glucose monitor placement, testing, and handling insurance pre-authorizations and referrals. IL RN licensure and AHA CPR are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure is required.
• Current CPR Certification by American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Office RN experience and BSN preferred.
• Must be self-starter and able to handle high stress.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs and frequent standing/walking.

Responsibilities

• Perform phone triage and educate patients with empathy and professional communication.
• Place and monitor Continuous Glucose Monitors, perform related testing, and handle insurance pre-authorizations and referrals.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and coordinate patient flow as directed by supervisor.
