Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current RN license is required; compact multistate or license eligibility may apply.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is strongly preferred at time of hire and required within 3 months of hire; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dissembles and records patient condition; relays information to doctors and patients.
• Dispenses medications as directed by providers and educates patients and families on medication use.
• Performs phlebotomy with proper labeling and specimen handling; completes requisitions and quality controls.
• Assists providers to facilitate patient treatment by retrieving tests and medical records.
• Maintains organized work areas and ensures accurate documentation of orders and procedures.
