Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing, NY RN license required.
• BLS certification required; BSN preferred.
• One year of nursing experience in pulmonary or medical-surgical care is a plus.
• Ability to document and communicate effectively with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered clinical care.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient and documents findings.
• Communicates assessment and plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and documents an individualized plan of care.
• Follows safety, medication administration, and documentation policies.
• Revises care plan based on ongoing evaluations and documentation.
• Completes at least one CRU form using a recent US-based article.
• Completes a minimum of 5 CNE/CEU hours per year.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
