Job summary

Temple University Hospital is seeking an Exercise Physiologist - Pulmonary to join the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team. The role conducts tests to evaluate respiratory function, educates and rehabilitates patients with lung disease, and supports the lab staff as needed.

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic Life Support certification is required; ACSM certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field required.
• Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• ACSM certification preferred.
• 2 years experience in pulmonary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests to evaluate patients' respiratory systems.
• Educate and rehabilitate patients with compromised lung function.
• Assist co-workers in the Pulmonary Function laboratory as needed.

Serves as a member of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation team whose duties include performing tests to evaluate patients' respiratory systems with existing or suspected lung disease. Educates and rehabilitates patients with compromised lung function to improve their quality of life. Assists co-workers in the Pulmonary Function laboratory as needed.
