Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with the care team to provide compassionate care, following established nursing models and state requirements.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, timely documentation, and patient education to ensure understanding of treatment plans and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• APRN or RN license is required.
• RN Diploma/AD/BSN/MSN acceptable.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the patient’s medical record.
• Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests and proactively addressing needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up steps.
