Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in South Strand is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will follow established nursing models to assess, treat, teach and manage patient needs.

Ideal candidates hold a RN Diploma with ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications and at least 6 months of RN experience. The role emphasizes compassionate care and adherence to state and specialty standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Diploma is required.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 6 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly and promote effective pain management with reassessments after interventions.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications and follow-up measures.
• Educate on non-medicinal follow-up measures, diet, exercise, disease prevention and self-management.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

BLS (Basic Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

APRN or RN licensure
