Job summary

The Pulmonary Division in the Department of Medicine at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG) at UCSF is recruiting outstanding physicians, physician-scientists and scientists at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to join the Pulmonary Division. The main duties include maintaining a robust research program as a member of the Pulmonary – ZSFG research community.

Successful candidates will be appointed at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank and will attend on

Qualifications

• MD and/or PhD with a minimum of three years of research experience.
• Independent pulmonary research program with interest in genetics, physiology, epidemiology, or related areas.
• Academic physician with focus on teaching and clinical care; roles at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a robust research program as a member of the Pulmonary – ZSFG research community.
• Attend on the Pulmonary services and participate in teaching medical students, residents, and pulmonary-critical care fellows.
• Contribute to education and advancement of clinical care.
