Job summary

Riverside Medical Group seeks a Full-Time Pulmonary Physician for the Eastern Shore of Virginia. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive pulmonary care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including evaluation, diagnosis and management of COPD, asthma and other respiratory diseases.

Requirements include MD or DO, Internal Medicine residency with Pulmonary fellowship, board certification or eligibility, Virginia license, and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with internal medicine training and pulmonary subspecialty board preparation or certification.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine with a Pulmonary Medicine fellowship.
• Active Virginia license or eligibility and current DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pulmonary care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures (PFTs, bronchoscopy, imaging).
• Collaborate with hospitalists, cardiology, oncology and respiratory therapy teams.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in quality initiatives.
